This Great Blue Heron was seen fishing in Hayden Brook during a "Tuesday Tea Tasting" at the Sugar Tree Cottage yesterday. Another example of the wonders to be found on Olive Street!

My son Jakob is in this production, appearing alongside cast members he's performed with before, and I'm sure he'll tell you it's a pleasure every time (it's show biz, you know?) Most excitedly though, he gets to share the stage for the first time with the wonderful Midge. He's been one of her theater kids, from Young Performers through Teen, Tech, and Tour but after seven years of all that, this is their first time together on the main stage.

So this is where I will plan to be when not on Olive Street. A new personal studio, rather than having my art and tools scattered around the place. I admit that it is wonderful to be working on this project at the same time as Olive Street!

The Music Man

The Music Man at Lakewood Theater opened on this date in 2012, and it was my son's first emsemble role at Lakewood. That's him on the left in the front with the clarinet.
